Teatro Colón is perhaps the most recognized cultural symbol in Buenos Aires, and has been producing theater, opera and ballet productions for more than a century. VIRTUALTRIP first worked with the theater in 2002 to help it develop a more efficient and cost-effective method of managing its employees. We created software for Teatro Colón that helped organize and maintain all the data and employee information necessary for each production. In 2008, we were again contacted by the theater to define a new digital strategy to celebrate its hundredth anniversary, and complement new visual identity work by FORMA Cultural Branding. A website, complete with the theater’s new logo (designed by FORMA), was launched to correspond with the grand opening.
